RETHINK CHURCH
“I’d have to give up my freedom and fun”
One of the biggest misconceptions about church is that if you take this “church thing” seriously, you may as well kiss all freedom and fun goodbye. Truth is, all that is pleasurable, good, fun, crazy, and enjoyable comes from a God who laughs and enjoys life with us. John Merritt will talk about how free we actually are in a relationship with God. (2 Corinthians 2:17; Psalm 16:11)

Church-wide Announcements
Child Dedication – Sunday, December 6, at 9:30 and 11:00 Services
Child dedication is a special time for parents to present their children before the church for prayer and blessing. We do this in the same spirit in which Jesus was dedicated by his parents and in the way Jesus himself blessed the children during his ministry. If you would like to register your child for this event, please contact the church office: 925-560-3800.
Join the Team!
The Special Needs Ministry provides a safe, loving environment, with biblical teaching, to children with disabilities. Our hope is to provide respite to the parents and caregivers by providing the opportunity and time to worship God as their child is cared for. We invite you to KNOW, LOVE and REFLECT Jesus as we minister to these children and their families. Please contact Cheryl Birmingham, cbirmingham@comcast.net, 510-537-2067, for more info.
